“Movies Reloaded” is the perfect playground for its cast of top-notch comedians, for whom nothing is sacred as they parody some of the biggest and most beloved film genres: horror, western, dance and teen movies.








In the horror spoof, based on such popular films as “Halloween”, “Friday 13th” and “Scream” as well as the classic “Dawn of the Dead”, four teenagers are driving to a Halloween party, when suddenly a tree crashes down on the car.

One minute later, a man with a chainsaw emerges from the darkness…




In the teen spoof, the central body-switch theme comes from “Freaky Friday”. Melli, who is lonely and isolated at school, dreams of becoming one of the cool girls from the “it-Girls' band and seducing the cute but arrogant football player Roque.







Then mischievous destiny makes its entrance, switching the bodies of Melli and Roque…

A lonely cowboy approaches a run-down ranch out in the middle of the dusty plains, where a silent harmonica player sitting outside on the porch somehow seems to be expecting him, and so begins their crazy cat and mouse game...



Cowboys, Indians, brave sheriffs, lynchings and blood feuds: Based upon the genre’s classic “Once Upon a Time in the West”, no cliché is left out in this western spoof.









In the dance spoof, Doerte and her boyfriend Jens go on a vacation to Virginia, the shooting location for “Dirty Dancing”, Doerte’s favorite movie.

Shortly after their arrival in the USA, they have a serious car accident and Doerte somehow finds herself on the original movie set – but the script has been somewhat altered…




Four well-known movie genres undergo a wild transformation into playful and light-hearted satires in this thoroughly enjoyable series.
