Santa in the House

Family Entertainment | Movie, 1 x 90'

Klaudia, owner of a bakery chain, must appear in court after being accused of having illegally withdrawn € 500,000 from the company’s account.

When false testimony results in her conviction, Klaudia sees no other alternative but to become a fugitive until she can prove her innocence.

Her escape from the authorities proves nothing short of miraculous when all the doors separating her from freedom are strangely left unlocked.

Coming upon a truck loaded with Santa Claus costumes, Klaudia steals one in order to buy time – she knows her only chance is to get her hands on the secret documents now in the hands of the sleazy lawyer Frank…

Disguised as Santa, she breaks into Frank's home. Startled by the sudden shrill sound of the alarm system, Klaudia runs from the scene, hoping to find shelter at the neighboring house. She’s met at the door by the neighbor’s children, who are more than willing to hide Santa.

Soon, however, their father Paul discovers the kids’ secret and swiftly kicks Klaudia out of the house. She doesn’t go far, promptly taking refuge in the children’s tree house.

At first being aided in her quest just by the kids, after a while even Paul’s skepticism for the fake Santa turns into a warm fondness. Until an unfortunate misunderstanding destroys his faith in Klaudia and threatens to blow her cover…
