For former model Steffi, the future looks rosy. She has a husband who earns a substantial income, a beautiful home, and she is pregnant – thanks to the sperm donation of a carefully chosen, anonymous donor. 
When Steffi finds out her husband has been cheating on her, her idyllic future threatens to evaporate. In desperation and against all common sense, she seeks out the anonymous father of her child. But instead of the expected, genetically superior man, she finds nightmarish loser Tommi, equipped with baggy comic-strip pants and a can of beer...
Working at odd jobs, convinced he will one day strike it big, chaotic but warm-hearted Tommi sold his sperm to supplement his meager income. Fascinated by Steffi and proud that such a hot and sexy woman is expecting his child, he plays it to the hilt, hiding the true circumstances of the pregnancy from his highly impressed buddies.
Despite their being from different worlds, the two find themselves drawn to each other. Because of Tommi’s willingness to share responsibility for the child, Steffi begins to see him in a different light and eventually lets down her defenses.
But only lies, betrayals and heartbreak await the expectant mother. Tommi fails to live up to his promise of being the family provider. Now heavily pregnant, to whom can she possibly turn?
