After the death of his wife, the former soldier Harald must take care of his three lively daughters alone. Adding to the stress, he is starting a new and turbulent career as a teacher.
Unfortunately for his daughter Maria, who could just die from shame, it happens to be the school that she attends.
Handling three headstrong girls is one thing, but now he finds himself in charge of an entire classroom full of kids. The students are not happy – they would like to get rid of their strict new teacher as soon as possible. That goes especially for Maria, who is extremely embarrassed at having her own dad as a teacher.
These kids really mean it! They had already driven their last several teachers right up the wall and into therapy…
But Harald, with his 20 years of experience in the military, has some pretty surprising tricks up his sleeve.
One of the students, Ralf, is an extra big thorn in Harald’s side. Complicating his efforts to keep Ralf in line is Maria – she has a major crush on him and is more than happy to aid him in his mischief.
Harald faces a number of challenges. For the first time in his life he has to deal with rebellious students, an attractive principal and Maria’s first love.
As if all that was not enough, another one of his daughters suddenly wants to move to Australia!
