For the single mother Jule, life is anything but easy. She is working at the dry cleaning store she had taken over from her dad, and is now living together with both him and her son Sawyer. 
The last thing she has time for is getting to know people and developing a circle of friends, so she regularly seeks the advice of the radio personality Ariane Keller, the host of the popular show “Sex Past Five”. 
The show has developed a vast following of people who hungrily devour her advice on all matters concerning life, relationships and, of course, sex.
Jule has recently met a new guy and is unsure how to proceed with the situation. Robin is a few years younger than her and a student having ambitious plans for an academic career. How could someone in Jule’s position – a single mom working at a dry cleaners – possibly keep up with such a sophisticated and elite lifestyle as that?
Calling into the show on a daily basis, she shares her insecurities with Ariane. For the host, Jule is a most welcome caller because her story is attracting the even-greater audience that her boss has been demanding.
And it is a love story that appears to have possibilities, now that Jule has decided to still her fears and give the relationship with Robin a chance. At first everything seems to be working out, at least until Ariane realizes the man Jule is dating is actually her son! 
Suddenly changing her tune, she is now adamant in her conviction that Jule is not good enough for her young and very talented Robin. Shamelessly using her influence as a well-known radio host, Ariane does everything in her power to get rid of Jule…
