Vanessa is 30 years old and works at the civil registry office. In her private life she keeps everything well organized, especially when it comes to her fiancé Tim.
When Tim travels to Greece on business, Vanessa euphorically continues making her wedding preparations. But during their telephone calls, Tim is becoming less and less enthusiastic about their marriage.
Spontaneously, Vanessa packs her bags to confront Tim. On the flight she meets the attractive Janis, who is traveling to visit his grandfather Costa. 
Janis offers to help Vanessa win Tim back. In return, he asks Vanessa to be his girlfriend for the sake of the stubborn and old-fashioned Costa.
In Greece they discover that Betty is the reason why Tim has distanced himself from Vanessa. Vanessa is devastated, but Janis is not yet willing to give up.
After Tim and Betty go for a nude swim, Tim emerges from the water to find his clothing has mysteriously disappeared – and a tough police officer waiting. The cop, who is one of Janis’ cousins, dutifully escorts Tim to the police station when he is unable to provide any identification.
Meanwhile, Betty searches for his paperwork in the hotel room but instead finds an unfamiliar bra. Feeling betrayed, she leaves Tim abandoned at the police station –Vanessa’s and Janis’ plan is working out.
Having no other choice, Tim calls Vanessa, who rescues him from the police. Realizing how wonderful Vanessa really is, Tim begs for her forgiveness and at a romantic dinner again proposes marriage. Vanessa is swept off her feet.
The next day Vanessa says goodbye to Janis and his family, but Janis is too proud to confess his feelings. When Vanessa leaves with Tim for the airport, Costa takes matters into his own hands...
