The music teacher Carlo is a true rock 'n' roller – fully equipped with long hair, screaming amplifiers and a wild lifestyle. 'Laissez-faire' is his philosophy, which for him translates into: 'Let everybody do their own thing'.
But suddenly his heart rebels and he is rushed to a cardiac clinic with stabbing chest pains.
At the hospital, he is attracted to Ellen, one of the doctors. The timing, though, could not be any worse. The diagnosis of heart failure, combined with the effect this gorgeous doctor has on Carlo is simply too much.
Carlo flees the clinic and returns to his radical lifestyle – which is suddenly forced into an unwanted direction: The school’s principal assigns him to step in as a guidance counsellor.
Now, on top of his own troubles, Carlo is forced to deal with the students’ problems. Franz is one of the first seeking his advice. Extremely unhappy, he complains his mother never has time for him.
Carlo simply tells Franz to report his mother to the Bureau of Youth Welfare. What Carlo does not know is that the student’s mom is none other than Ellen! Moreover, the Bureau appoints Carlo to mediate between Ellen and her ex…
