In each episode, 2 sons are convinced their mom’s way of preparing their favorite meal is the best. To prove who is right, they have entered their mothers in a genuine cooking competition!

Every week, 2 moms battle it out, each preparing the same dish and attempting to outdo the other with their own legendary and well-preserved family recipe.









In an emotionally laden, “blind” tasting session, 1 mama is chosen as the proud winner and is awarded an honored entry in the amazing 'Mama’s Big Cook-Off' cookbook, which includes her photo, her personal story and her winning recipe.
