Time for the countdown to the spectacular opening of “The Ferrari World Abu Dhabi”!
This two part series focuses on the very first Ferrari World, the largest indoor theme park ever built. It includes 20 rides and simulators and an exclusive display of classic Ferraris.
“The Ferrari World Abu Dhabi” boasts the largest free-floating roof of all time. Strong winds and outside temperatures of 48°C make the building process of the 2.5-kilometer wide roof extremely difficult.
After the construction is completed, the setting up of 20 assorted rides and attractions begins – from a kiddy coaster to the fastest roller coaster in the world.
Its individual tracks weigh up to 16 tons, ensuring stability along its breathtaking 2.5-kilometer length that allows stomach-churning speeds of up to 240 km/h!
This special is filmed entirely in HDTV and utilizes a unique visual language enhanced by time-lapse photography, dizzying aerial perspectives and state-of-the-art 3D animation. The film crew has been given exclusive permission to document the entire construction – from its start to its finish.
